Responsible publishing in practice

Changing opening hours, prices and services should always be checked on the provider’s own website.
Official City of Forssa and Visit Forssa Region services are clearly separated from this independent guide.
Photo sources and usage rights are stated. Corrections are made as quickly as possible.
Commercial cooperation is labelled clearly. Environmental or responsibility claims are not made without a specific basis.
Content is published in Finnish and English whenever practical.

How content is prepared

AI is used to help build the site, translate content, structure text and check language. Tero Ahtola reviews the content and is responsible for publication. AI-generated images are labelled next to the image.

Service directory principles

The directory is built and expanded step by step. Businesses and services are added by category as their basic information is checked and placed in the appropriate section. If a provider is not yet listed, it only means that the provider has not yet been processed.

Basic visibility is free of charge. Paid services cover broader profiles, photographs, videos, translations, update services and other additional visibility. Commercial cooperation is clearly labelled. Businesses and other local organisations may also submit their details or suggest an addition to the directory.

Privacy and visitor analytics

The site’s own ad-free analytics starts only with your consent. Aggregate records include the day, page, general traffic source, device group, language, country category and outbound destination. The country category comes from a country code supplied by the hosting platform; the application database does not store IP addresses.

Consent and whether the browser has visited before are stored in local browser storage. A visit marker lasting up to 30 minutes is stored in session storage. No advertising profile is created and data is not sold. Analytics records are deleted within 13 months.

Accessibility

The site uses structured headings, text alternatives and responsive layouts, and can be used with a keyboard. Accessibility of external videos, maps and linked sites is not fully under our control. If you encounter a barrier, report the page and problem by calling +358 40 743 4977.
